Adoption Deposit
Please note that approximately 90% of our kittens are adopted out via pre-adoption deposits. Only under exceptional circumstances do we have kittens available "Off the Cuff". Subsequently if you are interested in one of our stunning little Fur Children consider placing a securing deposit which guarantees you a kitten at the time you request. Further deposits are required pre-de-sexing and pre-transportation or pick up.
What We Cover
All adoptions include licensed vet clinic de-sexing, micro chipping, 2 x complete vet reviews, 2 x F4 vaccination, worming& flea treatment, socialization, litter training and children/dog friendly.
Some vets will require you to give your kitten(s) a third vaccination during their 16th week. This is, of course, up to the individual vet your select. Any kittens held longer than 16 week, which is normally the case with exported kittens and in some cases where two kittens are selected from different litters, will automatically receive their next vaccination.
When Our Fur Baby Can Go To Their New Home
Our kittens normally go to their new homes at 10 -12weeks of age, fully inspected, vaccinated, wormed, litter trained and socialized. Kittens also come with a ten-day health guarantee ensuring a safe and positive head start into bonding with their new owners. To some people 10 weeks may seem a long time however it has been found this period of time allows for full protection to be provided by the Mother and all the added protection of their vaccinations. In addition, our kittens can now come with 6 weeks of 100% pet insurance cover with Southern Cross Pet Insurance or Pet Cover for FREE. Correct FREE, no hitch, or glitches. We will only need to register the kitten and yourself on their web site for the free coverage. On the day of departure all our kittens are given a worming tablet as a continuation of their worming program from birth and for six weeks post adoption protection. Considerations are offered for both multiple adoptions and subsequent adoptions. We try to treat our Extended Aby Family as best we can. The Aby community across New Zealand is very close in that we all communicate frequently.
Transportation
Should transportation be required we offer our preferential rates with our professional animal transport company on a “no profit bases” recouping only those charges directly associated with the transportation. Please note” Transportation is only available from our cattery Monday to Friday 12 Noon to 6 PM daily”. We avoid all peak periods and weekends when most delays and cancellations occur.
